Though the shipbuilding firm of John Brown’s have no information on the subject, the ' newspapers believe •that the building" of the suspended giant Cunarder on the Clyde is to be resumed shortly, though continuous -work may be impossible befor e the mew year, ’ r ' \ It is believed that the* Cunard Company have been assured of ' a ' longterm eight million sterling loan at a low rate of interest, which ■will also make possible the building of a giant sister ship. Thus Britain would again own the 'world’s largest liners to contest the supremacy of th# ‘Atlantic. STATEMENT IS UNAUTHORISED. (Received + V > day at 9.25 «ml LONDON, November 7.
