Basil Hodgson was sentenced to two years ’reformative treatment by the Magistrate, Mi* W. Meldrum, this morning. Accused had a bad record, and 'the present charge was in connection with theft, including the art union prize ticket from Margaret Ann Stopforth, at Hokitika, The police stilted to-day that efforts during his remand to get Hodgson in the navy, had-been unsuccessful.
