ROSS NEWS

The death, took place at' Ross on Thursday evening at the residence of her daughter of an old and highly respected resident in the person, of Mrs Isabella Kernick. The deceased had reached the age of 87 years and had been in failing health for some considerable time. She was a native of England and came to New Zealand some 25 years arro, her husband predeceased her by some 13 years. There are two and two daughters, the sons being Joseph of Christchurch and Harry of Sydney, the daughters are' Mrs R. Donaldson of Ross and Mrs J. Williams of Blackball. Tho funeral takes place at Blackball on Sunday.
