HOKITIKA ALL SAINT’S CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING HELD

The annual meeting of the All Saint’s Tennis Club was held in the Soldiers’ Hall last evening, the B v H. J. W. Knights presiding. The minutes of the previous annual meeting were read and confirmed. The president then submitted the report and balance sheet, disclosing a satisfactory financial position. The president congratulated the club on their sound financial position.

The election of officers resulted' as fol^ov^s. —President, the H. J. W. Knights; vice presidents, Messrs D J. Evans, W. E. Williams, H. M. Coulson, J. Bt Ward and W. D. McKay (all re-elected); club captain, Mr J. Telfer; Vice-captain, Mr W. Chetwyd; treasurer, Mr J. B. Ward (re-elected); secretary, Mr J. Butland (re-elected); committee, Misses M Seebecli, J. Ross, Mrs' Collett and Mrs Butland, Messrs J. Telfer, W Chetwyd, A. King and secretary. Several now members were accepted The opening day was fixed for November 19th, but one court is now available for play from 4 p.m. onwards, arid the other will bo available at the end of jiext week. A hearty invitation was extended to members c f other clubs to be present at the opening of the.courts. Sever, :il mattjons of interest were discussed, ;and the meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the chair.
