FIRE FIGHTING. WELLINGTON, Nov. 3.
The Minister of Education (Mr Masters) promised a deputation from the fire fighting organisation, to-day that lie would consider a suggestion that in-struction-v in five prevention lessons should lie included *in Stare school enrrioulm. He expressed a doubt as to the possihilty of making the lesson,s <omoufsory, hut said they might he .narks voluntary. Thnv miglu he incorporated in tin- teaching of civics.
