The h rS t election bloodshed occurred in the harbour district of Hamburg) -Communists opening fii’e on a group of Nazis posting placards extolling Hitlerism and -seriously wounding eleven. Several pausers-by were also hurt. The Communist 1 ’ fled. The police surrounded t-he district making .a house to bouse search and arrested tw 0 hundred, 1 including numerous worn en and girls.
