A launch then went out to the reef, and it picked up the others, who were suffering from cold and exposure.

Their yacht soon became submerged. Salvage will be attempted to-morrow. During the squally weather a small sixteen-foot staling yacht capsized in the harbour off Kauri Point this morning. The crew of two young men were rescued by a ferry launch. Afterwards they were trn referred to a pilot launch, which towed the capsized yacht to P : rt-°nhend.
