PARKER 'KNOCKS OUT McEWAN. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) TIMARU, October 27. In the professional boxing contest here to-night, Vince Parker (Tim'a'ru) knocked out George McEwan (Invercargill) in the twelfth round. McEwan is the holder of the middleweight /title, but this was not at stake. From , the second ‘ round onwards, Parker was clerady •Superior, and in the middle stages of th e bout he administered severe punishment, only the condition and gameness of McEwan enabling him to .clarry on .dor so long.
