SHORT WAVE LENGTHS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October' 21. Sir Kingsley Wood. Postmaster-Gen-eral, addressing the Cardiff Chamber of Commerce, said experiments were now being carried out with encouraging results in the Post Office Radio Department for the utilisation of very short radio waves of three to ten metres wavelengths. Ail attempt was being made to fit them into a telephone network. An experimental circuit utilising such waves had been set up to bridge the river Severn some time ago. and this radio link has been included in the circuit, the whole length of which is 300 miles, with very satisfactory results.
