TOWN PLANNING.

WELLINGTON, October 20. The fourth annual conference of the Town Planning Institute was opened to-day, Mr C. K. Grierson presiding Delegates were welcomed by Cr. Appleton on behalf of the Mayor. During the discussion arising from the report, of the Institute Legislative Committee, Mr J. W. Mason said the Committee’s function was to formulate new or amending legisation.
