LONDON MOTOR SHOW. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, October 19 Yesterday was foreign buyers’ day at the Olympic 'Motor Show, and traders from fourteen foreign countries were among the 16,992 persons present at Olympia. They cain e in response to 3,000 invitation? that were despatched in advance by the society of motor manufacturers and traders. As a large proportion of the cars exhibited are of British manufacture, the foreign interest displayed is regarded as a tribute to the growing prestige of British motor products.
A CHILD FOUND DROWNED, WELLINGTON, October 19. The body of a child, Maurice Jones, aged five years, who had been missing from his home in Tasman Street for over a week, was found this afternoon in the boat harbour. AUSTRALIAN’S? yDEATH AT KOBE. KOBE, October 18. Lister Henry, formerly of Melbourne and latterly a leading foreign merchant here, was found dead this morning beneath his bedroom window in his Kobe residence. Early in tbe year Mr Henry returned from a holiday in Melbourne, and soon afterwards had a. nervous collapse. He was to have gone to Melbourne again next week.
