Simply as a. middle class German couple, Princess Sybille of Saxe Co-burg-Gotha, was married to Prince Gustav, son of the Swedish Crown Prince, by the civil law, in. the Ducal palace. Meanwhile the ancient city was busily welcoming sixty-seven royalties including Prince Arthur •oi Connaught and Lord Athloiie, who are assembling for the wedding.
Thirty thousand are participating in a torchlight parade and illuminations in the evening which began municipal celebrations, preceding the religious ceremony, which will be accompanied by a mediaeval! ritulal to-morrow.
