RESIGNATION FROM LEADERSHIP. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 18. Arthur Henderson has resigned the leadership of the British Parliamentary Labour Party. In his letter of resignation, he recommends the Party to revert to th e former practice of regarding the chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party as the actual leader.

Mr George Lansbury thus becomes the Leader of the Labour Party, and Mr -Henderson, who lost his Parliamentary seat at the last election, will remain as secretary and treasurer of the Party-.
