ORATOR lAN’S SUDDEN DEATH. POSSIBLY EFFECT OF INJURY. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, October 20. The racehorse, Oratorian, died suddenly on a horse float while being transferred from the steamer Maunganui, to the ferry steiamer Wahine for the south. Oratorian was injured on the wharf at Sydn'v and, when being transferred to flic Wahine suddenly reared u]> and fell dead. It is thought that death was due to some internal strain received when injured at Sydney.
