UNION COMPANY'S LINE The Komata left Grevmonth yesterday for Wellington coal laden. The Kaimiro left Greymouth yesterday f&r Westport to complete her coal loading for New Plymouth and Chelsea.' The Kalingo is loading, timber at Greymouth for Sydney and Newcastle sailing to-day., % , The Kanna,..arrived at Greymouth last night from Wellington via Picton to load coal for New Plymouth and Gisborne completing at Westport for Wellington, New Plymouth and Gisborne. The Kini was expected to leave Dunedin yesterday with general cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika, calling at way ports en route. The Opihi leaves Dunedin about t! e 25th. inst., with general cargo by Greymouth and Hokitika, via way ports.
INTER-COLONIAL SERVICE. WELLINGTON, ‘October 17. An important alteration in the in-ter-colonial passenger service is announced bv the Union Company. The Monowai. is to withdraw from the 'San Francisco mail service on arrival at Sydney on November 19. The Maunganui will take up her running, leaving Sydney on November 24. The Monowai is to enter the inter-colonial service-, which she will maintain in conjunction with the Marama, the Monowai including Melbourne as a port of call during the summer months. . The Monowai will pick up her new running, leaving Sydney on November 25 for Auckland. She will return from Auckland to Sydney and Melbourne, returning from Melbourne to Sydney and Wellington, and will make this call at Melbourne periodically during the summer months. , The Hudldart, Parker Co.’s new motor liner Archimoto is expected to reach Australia early next year to enter the intercolonial service in place of the Zealandia.
