EXPLAIN POSITION. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) AUCKLAND, October 19. The Auckland branch of the Watersiders’ Workers’ Union in u statement says the position that has arisen regarding Remuera is due to men individually refusing to undertake a cktes of work, which had they accepted it, would have resulted m each ot them being declared “black”’ ior life. The men feel a blunder has been made by freezing companies in displacing employees witlnout first endeavouring to bring about reconciliation and are ?f the opinion that their action may influence freezing companies to reconsider the position. Work on all other cargoes are being done morally.
