CROUPIER APPEAL
CORRY SUCCESSFUL. ADJUDGED A PARTNER. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, October 19. The Appeal Court gave judgment in j the case of Corry versus Paterson and Paterson. Sir M. Myers (Chief. Justice) said that, the judgment of Justice Herdman who \yas the trial judge, was perfectly right upon the material before him. The case took a new tprn in view of the fresh, evidence produced before the Appeal Court. The Court held that the parties had been, as from August 1, 1932, co-own-ers of the horse, in proportion of one half to Corry and one fourth to each of the Patersons. His Honour refused to allow costs to the appellant, saying it could not he said the transaction giving rise to the litigation .bed been very creditable to either of the parties.
