ACCIDENTALLY SHOT
MISHAP IN DINGO HUNT. SYDNEY, October 12. A man wias accidentally'shot at The Den, a wiki neighbourhood between Rulga and Comboyne, New South Wales. W. Carev, T. Soper, J. Carey and A. White had gone on a shooting expedition to The Den from Wingham, and had camped' there at night. Next morning ,W. Carey mistook Soper for a dingo moving in the thick scrub, and fired his shotgun. Soper /ell, shot in the left side. The party carried 'Soper for about two miles, through rough and thicklytimbered country, to Die camp. W. Carey walked to the residence of R. Bets, where Dr. E. F. Erby, of Wingham, was waiting. - Soper was then taken to a hospital.
