HIGHWAYS FUND
NO' DECISION BY CABINET. (Pei Press Association — Copyright ) WELLINGTON, October 18. No decision has, yet been reached by the Government regarding the recommendation of the National Expenditure Commission that the main highways fund should be abolished. Questioned on th e subject after the Cabinet meeting to-day, the Premier, Mr Forbes said that the question was .still Ijffler consideration, and the GovefninlvFs policy in the matter had yet to be decided.
