Lawrence Weaver, a labourer, 24 years of ago, of Caledonian Road, Christchurch, was sentenced to one month’s, hard labour when he was charged in tini Magistrate’s Court befere Mr H. P. La wry, F.M., yesterday morning v, ith the theft of a bicycle, valued at CIO, the property of William Frrncil Moyle. “Bicycle thefts are far too common in Christchurch,” said the Magistrate in sentencing the accused.
