UNEMPLOYMENT
WELCOME DECREASE IN N.S.W. (Received this day at 9 25 a.in> SYDNEY, October 17. Figures made available by the Government and the citizens’ employment relief committee give, a heartening assurance that unemployment is decreasing since the Government assumed office. The number of unemployed on the labour exchange books lias decreased by SO,0(10 and the citizens’ com mi tee figures show that, since July, 3,021 persons were absorbed in industries.
