An important conference of Mohammedans has just concluded at Lucknow where they decided upon a programme for the safeguarding of the rights of the Moslem community. They also empowered representatives to 'Consult with Hindus and Sikhs with a' view to reaching a solution of the communal problem in regard to representation in the new India constitution.
