CAR SMASH
THREE YOUTHS KILLED. (Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE, October 17. Three youths, Wallace Herd, David Stewart, and Rex El bo urn© were killed and a fourth critically injured, in a crossing smash near Ballarat. Eye witnesses state the car appeared to be, trying to beat the train to the crossing.
