BRADMAN
FURTHER REPORTS A CONTRADICTION. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this da-" a*} 10.25 a.ra.) SYDNEY, October 13. The chairman of the Cricket Board of Control, Mr Robertson, staled that Bradman had told the Board that he would not write for the press. Bradman emphatically denies this. It is uncertain whether Bradman will play for the Australian eleven in Perth. Excursion trains were contemplated from as far as Kalgoolie for the fixture, but the Railway Department is not advertising the timetable until in is known whether Bradman will be playing. A message from the Orontes at sea, , says the Englishmen regard Bradman as certain to play.
