Chicago methods r.iwereno- witnessed here when two men,' -standing outside V the Hotel, in Bay Street were fired at with a sawn- off shot gun, and revolver b-y men: in a passing motor car, who later doubled back and fired at the house, where ap- . parently they thought the victims had taken refuge,-: One man was slightly wounded, It is believed' the affair/ is a vendetta.. There was another shooting last night at Port Melbourne, which resulted, in a man being taken to,,the hospital with a bullet wound in the hack. His account of the shooting is not'helpful .to the police, ,
