LONG CONVICTION LIST. AUCKLAND, October- 6. George Cecil Horry, aged 25. a motor driver, pleaded guilty to-day to five i charges of obtaining goods and money by fraud in Auckland and Wellington. It was stated that accused, on arriving from Wellington, booked at a leading hotel as Captain Cnnliffe and later left for Sydney by the Mariposa, but he was brought back to Auckland. He had forty-eight previous convictions. The Magistrate sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment, to be followed by three" years’ reformative detention.
