TRAGIC END TO DANCE. TEIMUKA, .October 6. The, Charity Ball held' last night by the Temuka Football Club, in conjunction »with the Borough Council, cam® to a tragic end at 1.30 a.m., when Mi A. H. Abbott, president of the Football Club, died suddenly «htsid e the. hall. He had pveyjously gathering on the objects of the ba-1, which was to assist distressed families in the town. Mr Abbott’s death is deeply regretted as ,he was well known as a sportsman and follower of football in Canterbury. He recently went to Rangiota with the fourth grade team.
