FUNERAL O' H, V. JOHNS
AUCKLAND, October 5. Tire widf popularity of Harry Valentine Johns, the young boxer who died early yesterday morning at the Auckland Hospital, was evidenced by the large attendance at his funeral. Among the large gathering of mourners were representatives of sporting bodies m Auckland, as well as many amateur and professional boxers and League footballers. Telegrams of sympathy were received from boxing organisations in many parts o c the Dominion.
