GIRL ON STILTS. AUCKLAND, October 4. An admission that he had caused obstruction in Queen Street on Sep tember 1 by permitting a girl to wall on the footpath on stilts and play a cornet, thereby causing persons to congregate in the street, was made bv James Trench, a theatre manager, ir the Police Court.. Detective-Sergeant Kelly • said the girl employed by defendant as : means of advertis'ng the theatre. D?fendant had the girl removed when requested to do so. 4 .
