BLIND MAN

KILLED BY TRAM. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) AUCKLAND, October 5. A blind man, William Buckley, was knocked down by a tram in Newmarket last evening, and died in the hospital this morning. Buckley was employed at the Blind Institute and als o was a prominent Salvationist. Ho was .going to a religious meeting when he was knocked down. Ernest August Hogh saw Buckley about to cross a street, and offered to guide him. Both were knocked down. Hogh was also sent to hospital, but his condition is not serious. .
