The dog bit her on the -hand. Defendant"admitted that his dog was out at the time. The dog had since 'been _.sent '"bo woodcutters’ cr.mp at Kawau. ~ , Counsel said that the dog* in question, although a large 1 one, was <jnly a puppy. There would not be any further trouble. “Be can hunt ’possums now,” said the magistrate, in convicting Buscke and ordering him to pay costs amounting to 16s. ■-
