CHANGING POLICY IMPORTANT PROPOSALS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 3. The “Daily Telegraph’s” naval expert says far' reaching modifications of the British naval policy art planned for the near future including the merging of the Atlantic and Mediterranean battle, fleets, 'the re-organ-isation of the Mediterranean fleet as a light, mobile striking force and the building of smaller ships of all types.
The plans depend on increased Dominion help, which it is believed will be forthcoming in accordance with informal discussions at Ottawa.
