Coles, applying for lease of section near lenzjne store.— Received and; granted at 10s per annum. s i From W. ‘White, applying for lei-ise of section on Gibson Quay.—Received; left- in hands of Chairman. From Postal Department terminating lease of section.—Received. A quantity of formal letters and circulars were also read.. The signalman reported the channel is westerly with la< depth of Bft. with not much chance of improvement until there is a flood; a sheep pen was under way of erection. —Received. Accounts amounting to £3ll 14s lOd were passed for payment. 'The Board then adjourned to inspect the proposed alterations for the shebp oen and the meeting terminated after anpraving cf some necessary railings to be erected a.t dangerous places on the wharf.
