INFANTILE PARALYSIS
TWO MASTERTON CASES. , MASTERTON, September 25. Two' cases of infantile paralysis arc at present under -treatment at Masterton Hospital. Th© first caee, a girl o thirteen from Upper Plain, was ao mitted three weeks ago. She is reported to be making a good recovery The second case, a girl twenty year of age, from Lansdownc. was admitter yesterday. It is believed sh e was a contact with the previous case. These are the first cases to be reported in Master ton. for several years. The only one to be reported in the Wairai'apa in recent years was in Cartel ton two years ago. Sporadic cases such as these occur from time to time throughout "th* Dominion, and there is nothing: in the nature of an epidemic of the disease.
