The New Zealand racehorses Admiral Drake snd Garter Knight, with a number of Dominion sportsmen for the Spring Carnival, had- a rough crossing of the Tasman aboard the Maunganui. Garter Knight, a flighty colt, was injured while struggling to escape when the vessel was rolling. 'He tried to climb over the rail of the loosebox and struck himself, and was placed under a vet' upon Admiral Drake was transhipped for Jk Melbdfirne.
