Angus Duncan, of Wellington, holder of the New Zealand Amateur Billiards Championship, was easily defeated in the- (semi-final to-night by A. Bowie, of Dunedin who won by 666 points C> 313. Right front the start, Bowie took the lead, and - increased it all the way, Duncan nevero; looking like a champion. Mason had breaks of 70, 49, and 43, - while McLean’s best- were 46, ■ 36,.- and 34. Two Dunedin players, Mason and' Bowe, are left in the final, whiph will be played 'to-morrow in two sessions, each of 750 up.
