The Kiwi (Reeftop) Club wrote thanking the Sub-Union for its hospita'ity to members of the team during their recent visit to 'Hokitika. (Permission was granted the Kiwi Club'%>. : send ia team to /Westport next •Saturday, and the ' sum of £3 was granted thwa;rds:;:j-deffa.yiiig the '.expenses. ■

Permission was also granted the Excelsior Club to send a junior team to Westport on October 4.

It was decided te suggest to the West Coast Union that the match between (excelsior and Star be played next Saturday. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded 3ZR for its splendid broadcast of the Coast v. Buller match on Saturday, and the secretary was instructed to convey the Sub-Union's thanks by The sum of £1 Is was voted toward the expenses incurred. It was also decided to congratulate the West Coast Union on the performance 1 of its team last Saturday and to convey the thanks of the Hokitika member* for the attention shown to them.

The chairman handed the McGregor banner to Mr Bell, on behalf of the (Kiwi junior (team, winner of the junior competition, Mr Bell briefly, returned thanks.
