At the Magistrate's Court, Christchurch, on Thursday, Edith .Wilkins, a resident of Linwood, was charged with laying poison in a" section a'djoinirg a public place. Sh.e pleaded philty nfflcl Avar, convicted and idi'scharged. The- police stated that defendant’s neighbour kep L pigeons, which• annoyed her by Visiting *her garden and'destroying the vegetVbl'S."
