Martin” suggested that, the premier of Queensland _Mir Forgaii Smith—must be-in sympathy with Communism, or otherwise he -would’ not laiMow Communist -processions. The letter also urged the formation of a “New Guard” and urged a refusal to pay taxes, adding: ‘The peoplet have the Government at their mercy, if only they have the courage to act.” The ease"-was furtjiieir adjourned till aepitembeih^od.
