The ‘Morning Post” says a group of British timber importing firms are negotiating with th'e Latvian Government to purchase the entire output of the 'Latvian forests during the com- . ing season, amounting to one hundred’ ' and fifty thousand standards. If the negotiations are successful, this will ease the British demands for (Soviet timber, of which latter 450 thousand standards were sold in Britain last year. ‘ ; ■
