Although, China' is still pinning her faith' to the of Nations,, she will address ...identic notes to the League of Nations and to the signatories to the nine power treaty (maintaining China’s integrity) involving their aid. ' If no iaid is available to her from the nine .power treaty signatories, China will then be compelled 1 to take active steps to recover the territory she has lost in Manchuria - through the Setting up- of the new State.

Most elaborate arrangements are being made for celebrating the recognition of Manehukuo, including a monster reception at the Tokyo public hall.
