The indictments necessarily would involve also several persons accused in affidavits now in the possession of the Department of conspiracy to smuggle Chinese into the United States. If the;,are convicted they face goal and deportation.
It was alleged during /evidence given at Lancaster’s trial in Miami recently that several persons, 'including Lancaster, were involved in negotiations to 4 bring Chinese by aeroplane from Mexico.; into the United States. ; Lancaster said a proposition was made to .him, which he communicated to Mrs Miller, and which, on her advice',, and .egebprtation, he declined.
