N.Z. MEAT EXPORTS
IS THERE,A RESTRICTION? MINISTERS DENY KNOWLEDGE. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, September 13. It is reported that an agreement was signed iat. Ottawa by Mr Stanley Baldwin (Britain) and Mr Coates (New - Zealand!) under which the exports of New Zealand mutton and iamb would not he subject to a quantitative restriction. The Minister of Industries and Commerce, Hon. Mr Masters; the Minister of Agriculture, Hon, Mr Macmillan, and the Meat Board authorities, to whom the report was referred, stated that they had no knowledge of such arrangement.
