PLANS FOR NLXT CONFERENCE. } Plans already are taking form' for the fifth biennial conference of the Institute -of Pacific Relations, which wifi be held at Banff, Alberta, in the Canadian Rockies, in late August and early September of 1933, on the invitation of the Canadian Institute of International Affairs', of which Sir Robert Borden ex-Prime Minister of Canada, is honorary president, and the Hon. N. W. Rowelf is' president. .. The programme will deal with economic, social, and political prob.onis resulting contact's of nations in the• Pacific, and formal announce ment from the governing body of the institute states that “the continuing unqprtainty of political relations in the .has greatly stimulated rather than disturbed the institute’s research and educational activities.” BtofiibershilJ in the institute consists of national groups from China, Japui, New Zealand, Australia, the .Philippines!'Great Britain, Canada, the United States, and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
