Roes Flat" “Company.—Mr Janies Park, aolocitor for the Ross Goldfields Company,' Ltd., lodged the necessary papers this morning for the registration of the company. The capital is £BO,OOO in’ £1 shares,. The . first directors are Messrs H. L.. Michel, J. A. Murdoch, J. Grimmpnd, J. D. Ormond (Napier) and F. J. Welch (Wellington). Mr H. M. Smyth is the • engineer. , Arahura.—.A social dance tendered by the Jadies of. . Arahura and Three Mile to the members of the Arahura Football Club to commemorate their winning the southern division of the junior championship took place in the Three Mile Hall last evening arid proved a great success. Excellent music was supplied by Miss Cullen (piano), and Messrs Ryde and Turley (violins), while Mr W. Jamieson made an efficient M.C.
Mining.—The Keep It Dark Quartz Mining Company have declared a dividend (the 181st) of sixpence. The Pactolus- Dredging Company have declared a dividend (the 39th) of one shilling... Wilson McGregor, Andrews, Williams, : Cufriming, Pollock, Mandl, J. Wilson, W. Diincan,' and McNaughton. An iriterestirig resume of ‘the progress of the Bank was given by Mr Duncan, Dr Teichelmann returned thanks to the’"trustees for the handsome gift.
