DEBT PAYMENT

Reticehce is being maintained in official circles regarding the Government’s intentions as to its debt payment that are due to the United States on December 15th next, but the “Daily Herald” says that the Treasury have decided io'pay thus* necessitating that in the autumn budget, : no new taxes, but heavy economies.
