The annual West, Coast, Brigadtes demonstartiofi 5 is dwn to 1 take place on Hokitika, on Saturday, November 13th. next, Six events are -set down 'for com- 'y petition, comprising:— One man (Browning Memorial event) dry. '■ Two men, hose and standpipe event. A Three men, disabled hose event. Three men, disabled hose event (to draw for places). Five men, hose and standpipe. Five men, disabled 1 hose event. The prize money totals £2B, and in addition there will be a number of gold medals and trophies included.
