Mrs Green, one of the two women appointed to the Upper House :by Mr Lang ih January, 1931 j has resigned. No explanation is given for Mrs Greeks action.
Mrs Webster is now 'the only woman in the House, .and she has announced her -intention of retaining her seat'.as -long as she coifld. -
