SERVICES IN AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE, September 6. Referring to the burden of subsidising internal air mail services, and to the inauguration of the service between England and Australia the Postmaster-General (Mr Fenton) said he thought it preferable to have a large national oversea mail service. This could he run at little more than what they were now paying for various internal subsidised services, which compete with the train and steamer services.
