Expressing the opinion that the defendants Lad acted throughout reasonably and • within their legal-rights, Mr Page, S.M., gave- thi - reserved judgment for James Smith Ltd., in .the action of Doris N. Paris, who claimed £l5O as the -restilt of an accident in the firm’s shop on December 23,. when a ehop walker suspected her of shoplifting. Costs £9 10s were awarded against the plaintiff, Mrs Paris, who alleged that defendant’s shopwalker assaulted her by holding her by the arm as she .walked back to the office 'with him, that he falsely imprisoned her 'by detaining her in the office against her will and that he wilfully took -and detained her goods.
